As a full-time freelancer, I’m always struggling to juggle client projects, my own projects, and (sometimes) having a life outside of work. I’ve never really found a way to concentrate on one thing at a time – it’s not that I have ADHD; I just can’t keep my brain from coming up with new ideas.
Below are a few of my personal projects and websites. This is an ever-expanding list, so stay tuned!
Nuts and Bolts Media – My company website. I provide web development and technical support services for web designers.
Nuts and Bolts Media was formed in 2011 and became my full-time job in 2012. I feel so fortunate to spend every day doing something I love while still getting to spend time with my son (and my dogs, of course). If you are a designer who wants to outsource, that’s the place to visit!
The Daily Bolt – The Daily Bolt is a curated list of blog posts related to WordPress, freelancing, and the Genesis framework. I wanted to create one place I could visit to quickly find out what’s going on in the community and check out interesting articles, so I decided I’d make it available to the public as well.
Between the Bolts – I started a new blog to document my attempts to achieve work-life balance. Four years as a freelancer has left me a bit burned out, so I’m hoping the challenges I’m setting up will help me feel like a normal person again.
